The Gandhi Community ("Kollektivet Gandhi" in Swedish) is a community of nonviolence inspired by Mohandas Gandhi. We strive to work and live nonviolently in all aspects of our lives. The three of us - Annika Spalde, Pelle Strindlund and Martin Smedjeback - have lived together since 2009 in the town of Mjölby, in southern Sweden. The main focus of our work is against the Swedish export of weapons and for animal rights. Apart from actions and organizing campaigns we write and give lectures about peace, animal rights and nonviolence.
